Privacy Policy

Vraastrology (vra.vedajyoti.org) is a birth-time rectification service operated by Veda Jyoti · OccultSanctum. Birth details are intimate information — this page says plainly what we collect, why, and what we will never do with it.

What we collect

• Your Google account basics when you sign in — name, email address, and profile photo. We use Google sign-in only; we never see or store a password.
• Birth details you enter — the name, birth date, birthplace, and approximate birth time of each chart you create. A chart may describe you or someone you add (family, friends); you are responsible for having their consent.
• Life events you confirm during rectification — the event types and dates you select (for example a marriage year). These exist only to score candidate birth times.
• Questions you ask a chart and the answers, kept as your conversation history so you can return to them.
• Payment references — the Razorpay order and payment identifiers of a purchase. Your card or UPI details go to Razorpay directly and never touch our servers.

How it is used

Only to run the service: computing charts, sweeping candidate birth times, answering the questions you ask, and keeping your credit balance. Rectification runs, conversations, and credits are processed and stored on the OccultSanctum platform that powers this site. Answers to chart questions are generated with the help of a third-party AI model provider acting as a sub-processor. We do not run advertising, we do not profile you for marketing, and we never sell or share your birth details with anyone.

Cookies

Two, both essential: a short-lived state cookie during Google sign-in, and a signed session cookie that keeps you signed in for up to 7 days. No analytics or tracking cookies.

Where your data lives

The list of charts you keep (names and birth details) is stored in your own browser. Rectification runs, conversations, your account identity, and your credit balance are stored on the OccultSanctum platform. Reasonable technical measures — encrypted transport everywhere, server-side API keys, signed sessions — protect them.

Your rights

Ask at any time to see, correct, or delete the data we hold about you. Write to support@occultsanctum.com from your sign-in email and we will act within 30 days. Deleting your account removes your conversations and rectification runs; payment records are kept as long as tax law requires.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will note it here with a new date. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
